Class Description:
Despite the hype, living trusts are not for everyone. Find out if a living trust is right for you by learning the pros and cons of establishing a living trust. This course will help you make an informed decision about your estate planning needs by providing you with information about wills, living trusts, testamentary trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare proxies and living wills. Participants will gain a basic understanding of strategies to preserve their assets and to protect the inheritance of their loved ones. Other topics to be discussed include guardianship proceedings, long-term care insurance, the probate process and basic Medicaid planning.
